Is this ok for semi formal/cocktail?

Bad picture I know, I’m in the process of making this dress so it’s not fully done(no hem and sleeves not done) but is this ok for a semi formal/cocktail wedding in mid Oct? My husband was going to wear a blue suit with a tie to match the pink in my dress.

Could this be causing sewer gas to leak from toilet?

Hi all, I bought a house last year and my upstairs bathroom has a heavy sewer gas smell coming from the toilet. I am 100% sure it is the toilet. I replaced the wax ring a couple of months ago when it started leaking, which fixed the leak but not the sewer gas smell. I am now replacing the wax ring again to see if it fixes the issue, but noticed this patch at the start of where I think the p-trap is? I don’t have any visible cracks in the toilet, but the patch looks kind of old (toilet is about 15+ years old). Could the sewer gas be coming from here? Or is it more likely the wax ring? I could really use your help and advice, thank you in advance!

Is my second floor toilet leaking?

My toilet is on the second floor right above this slightly yellow stain. I’m not sure if this is an old or a new stain. Backstory: when I bought this house in 2020 I noticed the upstairs toilet was wobbly. I ended up replacing the wax ring on it for one of those soft flexible blue plastic rings. It looked ok to me and I didn’t notice any leaking at the time. I went ahead and sealed the base with caulk (except for the back). I’ve never noticed the water level in the bowl decreasing either. But I do see some tiny air bubbles in the water. Now 3 years later I’m noticing this stain…. I don’t believe it was there before or not. I appreciate your responses. Thanks in advance!

Jacuzzi hot tub leaking specialty valve

My jacuzzi started leaking out the BACK ( opposite side of my service panel) I have replaced minor parts over the years from valves to heater core assembly but never experienced leaks. I started removing panels and insulation and find a small rubber bladder one way valve leaking steady. It’s right at the top ( behind waterfall). Obviously it rubber wasn’t seated ( worn / cracked ?) and I blew twice hard into it ( heard bubbles inside tub) and it reseated and stopped the leak. I’m leaving it open to check again later and also dry and air it out . Until stores open tomorrow I do not know what this valve is , what purpose it served or why it started leaking. Any ideas ?

Hack for a quick repair on a PVC DWV fitting?

Looking for one of those old timer repairs (hacks) on fixing a leaking DWV fitting during a water pressure test. Hi guys, TN mountain man here again….I have some leaks at some joints during the DWV water test (filling the vent stack at roof) and don’t want to cut them out and fix them. (yes, yes I know, that’s how the pros do it). Does anyone have a hack for this? I have read a couple options… 1. heat joint with a heat gun and then flood it with glue and supposedly the glue gets sucked into the joint. 2. create a “suction” on the joint and then use primer and then glue to suck them both into the leak. 3. use the Leak-B-Gone product What you guys got?
