Thoughts for two different weddings?
I bought this dress for an event I’m going to this weekend, however I’m going to two weddings next year and I’m wondering if this dress would work for one or both? I’m trying to kick my horrible habit of buying a new outfit for everything I go to haha.
The first wedding is in April at a tiki bar, with a semi-formal dress code. The second wedding is in August and the dress code is “colorful cocktailâ€. I think this would work for both, but I always worry that I won’t be dressed appropriately. I would love to hear your thoughts!
Wedding guest in Kenya
Dear Reddit, please help. 🙂
I've been invited to a wedding in Kenya with the dress code: african attire.
I am neither African nor black. While I was able to find some decent options online I worry they might be either too casual or not "african" enough (designer is african, bit the clothes have no african feature... are very western looking).
I am looking to buy something I could wear at home, like a set of colorful pants and a top, which I could combine with "neutral" clothing. I'm not sure if a colorful kaftan would be a decent choice? I suppose not, as it's more northern African?
I've attached a couple of options I'm considering. Any input would be more than welcome 🙂
Is this ok for semi formal/cocktail?
Bad picture I know, I’m in the process of making this dress so it’s not fully done(no hem and sleeves not done) but is this ok for a semi formal/cocktail wedding in mid Oct? My husband was going to wear a blue suit with a tie to match the pink in my dress.
Could this be causing sewer gas to leak from toilet?
Hi all, I bought a house last year and my upstairs bathroom has a heavy sewer gas smell coming from the toilet. I am 100% sure it is the toilet. I replaced the wax ring a couple of months ago when it started leaking, which fixed the leak but not the sewer gas smell. I am now replacing the wax ring again to see if it fixes the issue, but noticed this patch at the start of where I think the p-trap is? I don’t have any visible cracks in the toilet, but the patch looks kind of old (toilet is about 15+ years old). Could the sewer gas be coming from here? Or is it more likely the wax ring?
I could really use your help and advice, thank you in advance!
