Strange marks only when wet

I’m renting at a new place & every time I bathe my dog when he gets out and does that little dog jiggle to dry off before towel drying this happens to the bottom of the sink. What product could previous renters have used to make this happen? It only happens when it gets wet, by the time it drys off it looks completely normal again.

So far we have tried the following: Soaked in oxy clean 2 times for 6 hrs Washed with detergent and oxyclean Soaked in washing soda Manually scrubbed with a brush and detergent Says not to bleach... What else can we try?

Hello! I've run out of safe solutions for getting the funk off. Between my roommate and I, we've tried all the normal solutions, baking soda/vinegar, kitchen cleaners, lots of elbow grease, etc. We're renters so we are avoiding going full nuclear with heavy duty chemicals and very abrasive scrubbers in case of scratching the coating if that's a thing. No one in our families has a stove like this so we don't have the ancient lore passed down either. Any guidance would be wonderful before my roommate resorts to summoning a demon for help. Thanks!

Now it's been about 6 months and my friend is finally pulling their life together. However I have no idea how to help him with cleaning this.
