Fall outfit?

Is the outfit (on the right) appropriate for fall, particularly for college?

I recently lost 186 pounds. This is my first fall purchase. A medium sweater. Does it fit good or should I go larger?

Still trying to learn how to dress myself. Before the weight loss all I wore was black sweatpants and black tshirts.

Is this a good fit considering darker skin tone?

I'm kinda asking myself if the colors are too dark
