My dyed ball experiment
So I saw a post about dyed balls and a question in the comments wondering if you could make a divide type ball with it. I've only tried it a couple times, and you can, but also not really. It would work well enough to see the spin in the air, but not really for a putting aid which is another nice thing about the divide. It's tough to do because the water may move, the balls may move when being removed from the water, and in doing so you can get a slight tinge of the dye in the part you're trying to keep clear. That could be something that could be fixed by doing less balls in the container. The other issue I found is the dye won't quite reach the bottom where the ball is resting, so if you'd be ocd about that, best to just completely submerge them.
I will say it's a nice way to identify your ball, but if you wanted to be really picky about it and have it look like a divide it'd be best to just buy divides.
I struggle at the range!
The yardages on the pic i posted was one of my best range sessions ever while trying to get my yardages for my new clubs.
That day I don’t know what happened but i was really swinging it nice and was feeling good, probably the best I’ve ever hit 😂
Since then its all gone downhill, i try go range or course once a week. Now on the course im fine, i swing it good and i hit it to the new yardages, shoot 90 and its all good happy days! Range sessions are just pure shit 😂 i top the ball, i slice, hosel rocket you name it i got it all and on too of that my 5 iron wont go past 150 yards??? Driver goes about 200 but yet on the course when I measure its around 250-270 like what the fuck!
Anyways i just wanted to rant cuz i had the worst range sessions ever 😂
