Flinders Street Photobooth
Just recently I had a pleasant interaction with a very lovely man sitting beside this booth who's unfortunately also homeless. And although I forgot to ask his name and actually introduce myself, I had a really nice conversation with him which also made my day. He seems very knowledgeable with how the booth works, he even does the countdown before it takes the photo for you (in a non-intrusive way) because it doesn't really have a timer since it's vintage. He's very accurate, and the thing is, he won't expect anything in return too. I gave him some money as a thank you when we left.
It also made me curious about what actually happened to him, but I'm not going to probe. He had a very big smile on his face despite his situation, something that we can all learn from. The owner of the booth even made a sign for him saying you can ask him to change your bills to coins. I just hope this man gets all the help that he needs so he can get back on his feet.
Just wanted to share because most things that are shared here are scary when it comes to homeless people.
Are These E-Bikes Legal in Melbourne?
Hello everyone! I'm considering purchasing an e-bike. However, I'm a bit concerned about the legality of e-bikes like the ones shown in the attached photo. The last thing I want is to invest in an e-bike and then get fined for using it.
Could anyone with knowledge on this subject clarify whether these e-bikes are legal to use in Melbourne?
Any advice or experiences you can share would be greatly appreciated!
