Can someone explain why I can’t land at locations?

I’m trying to land at locations that have landing pads and it ends up putting me hundreds of meters away. Am I doing something wrong or it just being goofy?

I dont know why but Carl was the first person that popped into my head.

Does anybody know how to deal with this? Google is unhelpful I pre-installed on PC game pass, and started this update today (official release day) But now I'm stuck here

V'aruun eulogy, random encounter when it landed in front of me on a random moon and I was swarmed with enemies

I really wish I had my pilot skill upgraded enough to steal this ridiculous ship. After battling my way through this chonky maze of enemies, I don't want to leave it now, especially since this is my first encounter with v'aruun who ive been looking for since i started playing. It would be nice to know what class they are before attempting to ship Jack them

This space truck has a small fram but sits on every C-class and tier 4 component money can buy. Flight deck on the low for ease of access.
