How do you guys feel about roll curtains? Do you prefer regular curtains over them?

College apartment!

Mostly everything thrifted or dirt cheap.

Been 6 months living alone. Time to make it “mines”.

31M been a little over 6 months living on my own now. Originally this was supposed to be a temporary solution til I can find something better or purchase a home. But doesn’t look like it’ll happen here anytime soon so I might just stay a little longer here. As you can see, it’s very basic 1/1 700 sqft unit. I have a medium size dog so I wanted to make sure I laid out everything that’ll maximize space (he’s extremely anxious so a lot of the times we only play indoors, plus it’s hot here in Miami lol). I’m looking for ideas how or what I should improve with this space. I plan on hanging some pictures I’ve taken but still on the fence with it. Can y’all give me some ideas? I’m horrible with coordination and color matching and do t have money to get an interior designer. P.S. I’ve gotten it a lot but no rugs. My dog sheds alot and I feel like it’ll be a lot of work and it’ll get stained with his hair within months.

What kind of bed frame should I get?

Just moved into a different room in my parents house (I'm 18) that's a separate office room in the back yard. There's a few things I still need, but mainly I'm lacking a bedframe as my old one was pretty worn down. I had an industrial style canopy bed before, but I wanna do something different. What do you guys think?
