My golden is all of a sudden acting very weird with his kibble

Hi All . Meet Comet. ☄️ Comet is 9 months old. Male. Awesome dog. After returning from a vacation at an Airbnb my dog is no longer excited about his kibble. He will only eat it with wet food (canned meat, or sardines) and not by itself. However he will eat it out of my hand, but not his bowl. He’s been doing this for ~2 weeks now. Does anyone know what this is ? And any tips on how to get my doggo back to normal with the kibble ?

This is Ares he is 6 months old now and because we live in Iceland he has never experienced dark nights. That is changing now and he is barking every night if he sees a reflection in the window or hears a strange sound outside. Do you have any advice ?
