Made with broken guitar head

Just installed the mantle last night. Is that something I have to topcoat/seal? See comment for more explanation.

The mantle is made from solid cypress. It’s only sanded right now but love the color as is for our house. I tried several finishes on the backside of the beam for tests but they all darkened the cypress drastically and I didn’t like the look of it. Is it okay to leave as is? Thanks

Peter Parker’s Playlist

We’ve learned a lot about Miles’ taste in music through the Spider-Verse movies, so I decided to make a playlist for what I think Peter Parker (all iterations) would listen to. This is what I have so far, all coming from past iterations of the character. I think he has an alternative/punk rock vibe when it comes to his music taste so that’s what I’ve mainly been including. What other songs should I include? Do you think this is pretty accurate? And yes I have Apple Music not Spotify 😂
