There were a bunch of them reaching out from the moss like the fingers of the scorched undead, it was so cool.

Seeking Identification

Spotted this guy growing at the base of a rotten tree while I was in the woods metal detecting. I'm in Southern lower Michigan. I'm thinking it's Chicken of the Woods, but only from similar pictures I've seen on this forum. The colors on this specimen don't seem as vibrant as some of the pictures I've seen before. I've only ever foraged for the common Morel, the only shroom I feel comfortable identifying. Forgive the terrible pic, my camera has a broken lens cover. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I found this mushroom today growing on some roots… Wondering if this has the same medicinal properties and other Reishi mushrooms and how to prepare it for medicinal use? I know how to prepare plants but not mushrooms, haha.

What kind of a fungus sweats? Found this in Ohio covered in what appeared to be water. It hasn't rained in a few days.

Are these Jack-o-lantern mushrooms? Indiana if that helps
