Not the biggest fan of mushrooms, but there's so much of this stuff that I would be a fool not to take advantage. But is it edible?! ME, USA

Is this mould coming out the kitchen cabinet? On the other side of the wall is a bathroom. There is also a window in the kitchen that can’t be opened. Any advice would be appreciated!

Seeking Identification

Spotted this guy growing at the base of a rotten tree while I was in the woods metal detecting. I'm in Southern lower Michigan. I'm thinking it's Chicken of the Woods, but only from similar pictures I've seen on this forum. The colors on this specimen don't seem as vibrant as some of the pictures I've seen before. I've only ever foraged for the common Morel, the only shroom I feel comfortable identifying. Forgive the terrible pic, my camera has a broken lens cover. Thanks in advance.
