Help with some ideas

I have a client that wants a walnut table made for this space. Approximately 8’ x 5’. He figures using metal legs bolted down make the most sense for the tighter area. I do agree, but I’d love to make some legs for this myself. Any suggestions for some leg styles that could work well in this spot? Or should we just stick with the metal legs? Thanks for your time.

What would be the easiest way to remove this laminate from a solid wood dining table?

I want to remove the laminate off of an old dining table I inherited because it is scratched and you can’t get it wet or set anything remotely hot on it. It’s a solid wood table with a decent grain underneath from what I could tell from the bottom of the table. I’m pretty sure it is laminate and not veneer.

Basement Workshop?

I recently bought a house with an unfinished basement and am thinking about turning it into a workshop area. Is there anything I should consider prior to hauling my tools down there and starting to set it up? I'm a little concerned about dust collection and keeping it clean and dry.

Help with stained MDF cabinets

My house has MDF cabinets doors and ends. They’re stained and we’re built about 7 years ago. I’ve never dealt with stained MDF before. This is on one of my cabinet ends and I’m not sure how it got there. Maybe bleach or something else splashed up?I’ve tried to rub some of the “touch up” stain I was given but it does nothing and just wipes off. Any suggestions on how to fix this shirt of sanding it down and restaining the entire piece?
