Sigh
I work for a large contractor. We got called out to finish a job that was started by another (normally) reputable company. This is for an apartment complex. The maintenance manager started noticing stuff like this.
The main line into the building was leaking under the slab, and he was under the impression they were going to fix that in the bid. Not only did they not have any intention of solving their biggest problem, they littered the walls with these kinds of goodies. Random sharkbites to old cpvc where they claimed it would be too hard to repipe it. They even used sharkbite couplings to connect the brand new pex upon occasion.
I can definitely see why they got the boot. Thanks for the business, I guess.
