Cover up a cover up

This is a cover up I recently got to cover another tattoo. This mountain and 3 stars is an emblem from a book I love. However, this looks similar to a Coors light mountain, l've heard multiple times. If I can find something to go above, around or over that would be cool. Any ideas? Also: I did get staph infection and it’s still mostly healing you can see patches. The guy had a heavy hand too so it’s just all a mess.

Do scars take ink…? And can they be covered up well? I have no ideas how to or what art can cover this up…

So I drew out a tattoo like 7 years ago, and my ex said he could do tattoos, showed me dope art. Okah yeah but he wanted to change some of my drawing. Okay.. I guess. But he drew it very very crooked... I've been bothered by it for so long, and I wanted a flower crown on the elephant and he said that'd be stupid. So yeah, I'm left with this. Is there anything I can do or should I just cover it completely.. The right side I drew he did the ugly crooked side..

Keep or Cover Up?

Any ideas on how to cover this up? I got this when I was a ripe 18 years old. I’m torn because I do like the tattoo, it definitely represents who I was at the time. But now I’m married and have a toddler. I’m just not quite sure if I got it covered up, what I would do. Any advice is appreciated.
