Did I fumble the slowburn wizard bag
I'm at 100 approval + did the act 1 magic teaching scene + stabilized the orb. I don't know where I went wrong because I've seen countless people complain that they have to beat this down bad guy off their Tav so I'm wondering how I managed to fumble this. I didn't long rest that much within the first ten hours of the game play but I still got his romance cutscenes so I don't know. Please help. I want to drive this man to bone toen
My strategy for a boss
I was having a hard time with the battle against Balthazar. So on my 4th attempt, I entered conversation with him, switched to Karlach, and noticed all the piles of bones on the ground are all the undead he resurrects at the beginning of the battle. So I had Karlach run around to all of the bones, pick them up and toss them on one of the long chains that connects to the bottom of the battle area. I found it you threw them just off the edge, they actually respawn in the same spot they originally were. I then took the bones of the larger guys and brought them up the stairs and into the back of the area so I could quickly shove them off the edge at the beginning of the battle because I couldn't throw actually throw them like the smaller piles of bones. When the battle starts and all the bones that were thrown on the long chain are resurrected, they all immediately fall off. So the enemy count goes immediately from 30 or whatever crazy number to about 4. I love the versatility of fights in this game and how using the environment can totally change things.
Got a second console just to couch coop BG3 with gf
We were super hyped for the best couch coop experience, even preordered a game for the first time just to start playing over the weekend.
Unfortunately the split screen experience and performance absolutely sucked dick and balls. The last patch ended up making it a hellish experience so we picked up a second console just to be able to continue enjoying it the best way we can.
Overall, we played for 30 hours since it came out on ps5 and it has been an awesome experience.
Because of this game we even found out that two consoles can share a single account's purchases which expanded our couple's library quite a bit. So I wanted to give my thanks to everyone involved with the game and encourage any couples who considered a similar setup. Long live couch coop!
