Just got a new apartment with Parquet wood floors and it squeaks in a spot. Can I ignore it?

Just got a new place and the floor is beautiful, but in the corner of the room the parquet is squeaky in some spots. Can I ignore it or it has to be fixed? If so - any tips on how to fix it?

How to connect this joint?

Hey guys, so I’m trying to make a pitched roof for a dollhouse and I’m trying to find a sturdy way of connecting these beveled cuts. I’ve been using a Kreg jig for the rest of the structure but it seems it won’t work well for this joint. Should I try and freehand pocket holes or simply glue and use brads?

Is this usable?

I am making some braces for the legs of my new desk from a sleeper and was wondering if this is mould are part of the treating of it. I fear/assume the former. After it has been shaped I am planning on burning and finishing it so if it's mould it shouldnt spread right and whatever it is won't be seen

Too thin and how to handle?

Found these beautiful maple planks and want to make them into a coffee table. 60* 200cm on tapered legs. The slabs are quite thin- around 45 mm (1,77 inch). After flattening then I would be left with around 3 cm. Is that too thin? And what should I think about going into the project? What are my options? U-rails in metal or something else better? Thank you everyone in advance!

Are bedbugs going to ruin my library?!?!

Not the bugs, but the heat treatment we’re about to embark on. We need to get up to 120 degrees for about 2 hours in order to kill them all. My library cabinets are made of poplar, the bookshelves mdf mostly (IKEA). Is everything going to crack?! So worried right now. We’re planning on doing it tomorrow morning. TIA

Bending wood?

And no, not Peyronie's disease. I asked for a challenge and a neighbor asked if I could make this. The cat, I think I can laminate boards and go to town carving and sanding. Not sure how to bend plywood (left side). Anyone have any tips that don't require an industrial steamer?

I F'd up bad I think. I tripped a breaker while using my planer and forgot to raise the blade before reseting the breaker. It squeeled like a pig and now won't turn on. How bad is it?

What can I make?

I found this cool piece of driftwood on a trip with my brother. I want to turn it into something cool and gift it to him for Christmas. He’s not very sentimental, so if I don’t make him something useful, he will probably throw it away. Any ideas? It’s about 18x6x1. I have no idea what kind of wood. Cedar?
