Was at a plateau at 1000 for the longest and I was convinced it was impossible to get better at chess. Losing a game would instantly make me irritable, which caused even worse play. So I fixed my mood and started keeping a clear mind while playing and my rating SKYROCKETED. I would suggest every new player train their psychology if you really want to improve your chess, it’s very underrated.

How on earth is this brilliant? he took my bishop and resigned after fxe6, and show moves shows Qe3 as a followup to that, but I'm not seeing how that 's brilliant

Why can't my king capture rook

I allowed rook to capture a knight thinking I could capture his rook with my king since my rook had his knight pinned to his king. Is there a rule I don't know about?

I liked this win, I think I am improving slowly
