Small black bug found on my cat.
I apologize for the bad photo but it is very small and my camera sucks so it’s hard to get a good photo of, I’ll try my best to describe it.
It’s very small and black (though I managed to find a white colored one but that could be a case of albinism.) they got really small attenades and legs you can only see up close.
I found them on my cats stomach, I thought it was ticks at first but my parents aren’t convinced, she also had a few bites and wounds and such. She does go out on our deck but our other cat doesn’t seem to have them. None have been found on me or my other family they’ve just attached to my kitty.
We’ve already given her a bath and are waiting for her to dry before giving her medicine.
I live in Virginia and near water if that helps. Me and my family can’t really identify it.
Possible centipede that crawls backwards in central Texas?
Hey y’all! I live on some land just outside of Austin, TX and I found this guy crawling outside our house. My toddler spends so much time outside, so I want to see if it’s something to warn him away from. When I put a stick in front of it, it started crawling backwards! Any ideas??
Thank you in advance.
