The actor I'd love to see as Alfred Pennyworth...

... is Denis O' Hare. This Tony Award-winning, Emmy and SAG-Nominated actor may not be a household name to everyone but he's a chameleon who's aced every role I've seen him in. He could be a bad-ass as much as he could be a graceful transwoman. He can also carry a good English accent. I've admired his work for years, but never thought he could be a comicbook/BTAS-accurate Alfred til I saw him like this in American Horror Stories last year. He's a young 61-year old now, perhaps not too late for me to wish it happens like I once wished to see Christian Bale as Batman, and for the next Batman solo film post-Bale to be a Se7en-esque noir detective story featuring the Riddler?

Why do people say it's "too early" for Robin to be introduced in the Batman 2?

Wasn't Robin/Dick Grayson introduced fairly early in the series/comics? Plus you can't have Batman without Robin? Dick Grayson is the OG Robin and he's pretty essential to the story and Batman's character since it has not be a superhero but a father figure. Batman having a family in general is important to his character.
