We call him Big Boy
He walked up to my bf at work one day and he was crying a lot. It was cold and snowy out so my bf brought him home to us (we already had 4 cats) with intention to find his owners or rehome. We never found his owners and he ended up fitting right in with our crew. We used "big boy" as a placeholder until we found a better name but it stuck. He's a big floppy 16 lb baby and loves to stretch out on his back like this.
Our story:
Wow, where do I begin? It has been a whirlwind of a week, filled with tears and guilt . Last weekend, our neighbors across the street captured the cat that was living outside our home with a trap that they set up in their garage. Apparently, they thought she was “pregnant.†She had just been eating good at my house. The neighbors didn’t want kittens. I’m still not sure if their intentions were good. As it turned out, she had already been fixed. I was devastated, as I knew what the shelter was going to do. They euthanize strays because they are such a problem here in our town. There are very little organizations here for animal rescue, most rely on outside parties like fosters. We had to make a choice, as we were running against the clock. It was a decision where we knew what we had to do. We had to save our “Grim†now Clover from an untimely death. ðŸ€
You chose us, and now we chose you. Funny how life works. Welcome to your forever home Clover ! ðŸ¤ðŸˆâ€â¬›ðŸ€
