Eczema flare ups leave skin lighter

Whenever my eczema flare is over, it leaves the patch of skin abnormally lighter than my skin usually is. It's even more apparent now because I've gotten a tan but it's very cool how to human body reacts to inflammation. Both pics are different spots but both on my arm 🙂
