Sri Lanka edge England despite Brook's record ODI double ton

England captain Harry Brook smashed 202 runs in the fastest double hundred in ODI history, but Sri Lanka still chased down the target to win by two wickets with one ball remaining. The match came down to the final delivery, with Sri Lanka hitting a six to seal the victory. Brook's innings set a new benchmark for speed in one-day internationals, yet it was not enough to carry his side over the line.

Which matters more in a tight chase: a record individual score or calm teamwork?
