Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent told a Ripple conference that crypto could be America's next tool for keeping the U.S. dollar on top. He suggested that coordinated action by the SEC and CFTC could fill the regulatory gap left after the Clarity Act failed to pass, while also addressing the issue of crypto debanking.
