Beekeeper's bare-handed craft captured in photo

Photographer Holly Lynton's image shows Les, a beekeeper in Albuquerque, New Mexico, working without gloves so he can feel the bees and avoid crushing them. The photo is part of her Bare Handed series, which began after a bird got trapped in netting around raspberry bushes in her backyard. Lynton wanted to highlight people who interact with nature respectfully, even in risky situations.

What does working closely with nature teach us about stewardship?
