Casio’s new keyboard aims to make playing along less discouraging

Casio has introduced the Casiotone CT-FS1, a portable electronic keyboard designed to take the sting out of learning. It comes in black or white, costs $399.99, and is available now. Casio says a feature on the keyboard could help aspiring musicians build skills like rhythm and timing without the frustrations or discouragement of hitting the wrong note, so learners can focus on the feel of the music instead of worrying about mistakes. For beginners, this could make practicing feel more like playing and less like a test.

Would a keyboard that helps reduce the frustration of wrong notes help you practice more often, or does making mistakes matter for learning?
