These two strange wooden sticks, with 3 prongs at the end. I found them leaning up against the posts in front of my store this morning.

An inch long thin silver metal object from a tapestry kit

This small thin piece of metal came in a tapestry kit from France and I cannot figure out what it is or could be used for. Can you help? Itâ€™s about an inch and a half long.
