Crepe paper flowers on cake
What about it?
I’m making crepe paper flowers to put on a wedding cake. What can I use to coat the back of the flowers with so colors don’t bleed onto the white frosting on the cake?
The picture attached is of one of the flowers I made. It’s colored crepe paper and I’m using paint or panpastels for accents.
How to not get crumbs all through the buttercream? I’m making a cake to practice since I’ve never done buttercream on cakes and I’m doing one for a birthday this weekend, I’ve only ever piped buttercream on cupcakes, I did a thin layer of icing and this is the second layer but I don’t want it thick…
