I have some chronic pain and today I put menthol patches on my knee and back. Well my lil shadow went crazy. She seemed to love the smell and my other cats have never had this reaction. My husband looked it up and it turns out catnip is part of the mint family and cats are very attracted to it and menthol. I thought she loved me but it might be my smell. My knee is next to her face in this pic. She’s safe I have pants and a blanket over it and I’ve tucked away my other patches.

How do you know if cats are bonded?

These two are littermates and have been together their whole lives. They have no problems being together (have never once showed any signs of aggression or unhappiness being together) and will play together a lot, but they don't really show signs of caring much for each other. This is the closest they really get to a cuddle, they don't groom each other and they seem more interested in spending time with my husband and me than with each other. What constitutes a "bonded pair"?
