About a month ago, a neighbor had found a rabbit wandering the street. The family I babysit for took it in but one of the children ended up being severely allergic. I took it in. I'm pretty sure it's a female Florida White. Unknown vaccination status. Unknown if spayed. Still doesn't have a name but I've been leaning toward Alice. We are going on vacation in two weeks and do not have a responsible person to take care of her. I am not a huge fan of rodents (mice, rats, rabbits, chinchillas, etc) but am comfortable taking care of them and handling them. A rabbit has never been in my plans. A few days before we go on vacation she will be dropped of at a shelter. She is friendly even with children and cats (no dogs). She loves to chew on crocs and anything she can get her teeth on. She loves Bok Choi and pretty much any fruit. She does not like tomatoes or red cabbage. She's 50/50 potty trained meaning she has used my cats litterbox when she free roams the house but not always reliably. She doesn't squirm when being picked up but will squirm a little during nail trims. She likes to play with our cats and tolerates their rough play. She has no care for loud noises (vacuum, blender). Will jump on the couch to cuddle. Likes to climb. If you are interested, have no dogs, and experienced with rabbits PM me. She will come with whatever greens, pellets, and hay we have as well as her toys. I live in Oswego, Illinois and there is a rehoming fee to cover the food we have bought for her.
