Tattoo From Apprentice

What about it?

WARNING: NOT MY TATTOO, PURELY FOR REFERENCE Hey guys, fairly new to tattoos and looking to get my forearm done. Will be my 2nd tattoo. I know tattoos are generally pretty expensive, but the artist I talked to quoted around $800-$1000 AUD for a piece like this (semi-realistic snake blackwork, winding around the outer forearm), even though she’s an apprentice. Not 100% sure with pricing, but I feel like this is a bit steep. Thoughts? Should I talk to someone else about maybe getting this done with them? TIA.

What ya think. Anything to add?

Getting this soon. Anything to make this pop?

Jumping on the first tattoo bandwagon, here’s mine.

What about it?

I have a couple more now, but I always enjoyed when people asked if I had any, just saying “Yeah, just one of a dragon on my back” and subverting their expectations.

Color advice?

What about it?

Hi all. I still need 1 or 2 more sessions to finish it, so I am looking for some advice on what colors should I consider for the empty parts (they will be filled with some effects, depth, shadows, etc). Also if you consider any other adjustments would make it better, I’d appreciate you sharing your thoughts. Hopefully I won’t need a huge panther 😅

Looking for some design ideas for my forearm containing the following logo. Any ideas?

What about it?

It's a logo from the band 'Lorna Shore'. I'm thinking about starting it from my wrist going upwards but I am not sure on how to incorporate it with also the front. I would also like it to have more of a background with shading. All suggestions are welcome!
