I'm thinking this could be a nice inner forearm or back of the hand / outer forearm piece? Debating whether to keep it as line work or to shade it in... Any thoughts from you lovely people ?

WARNING: NOT MY TATTOO, PURELY FOR REFERENCE Hey guys, fairly new to tattoos and looking to get my forearm done. Will be my 2nd tattoo. I know tattoos are generally pretty expensive, but the artist I talked to quoted around $800-$1000 AUD for a piece like this (semi-realistic snake blackwork, winding around the outer forearm), even though she’s an apprentice. Not 100% sure with pricing, but I feel like this is a bit steep. Thoughts? Should I talk to someone else about maybe getting this done with them? TIA.
