The red on the side is the crumbled up top of the cakes I leveled off.

Pictures turned out better than usual here. Chocolate chip cookies of course.

It turned out great. Tall, air, fluffy, the whole 9 yards. Most vanilla cake recipes I find are denser and by extention flatter.

Caramel apple Galette

This thing turned out soooo goood 2 apples cut up Sugar Puff pastry Couple knobs of butter Add about 100g sugar to the pan and caramelize, add your butter and mix until combined. Add your apples and cook down until liquid is doubled . Dump into a pie baking dish and place puff pastry around the top and sides. Bake.for 350 for 25 minutes
