Is it considered cultural appropriation for me to get this tattoo?

So basically my dad passed away when I was 13. I want to get my first tattoo as something with some symbolic meaning about my dad. Before he had me, my dad travelled around the world a lot and he lived in Central/south America for about 10 years. He rode a motorbike and this guy (Kokopelli) is painted on it. He used to wear a necklace with a Kokopelli pendant hanging from it. I never got to talk to him about what it meant to him, but I have done tons of research about the Kokopelli legend and what the symbol represents. I am an 18 year old white male and Basically I was just wondering if it was considered cultural appropriation for me to have this tattoo.

I just got this calf piece last week which I am a giant fan of. It was originally intended to be a one-off piece, but I’m loving how it looks on my leg so much that I’m thinking about having the artist continue the work to wrap all the way around the rest of my calf. Does anyone have ideas for content for the rest of the design?

this is my first and only tattoo that i’ve had for about 20 months now. i’ve been stuck on ideas for what else to put on my left arm for quite some time now. for context, i don’t want to do a sleeve or anything too low, and i wouldn’t mind if it incorporated into this one somehow. i kind of lean towards a minimalistic/nature/philosophical type thing i guess, if that helps. all ideas welcomed.
