See one of these (usually dead?) about once a month in my apartment. This one was alive and running around under the sideboard heat last night.

Any ideas? Near a creek in the Catskill Mountains in NY.

Terrible photo but this guy flew into me and fell to the ground. I don't think it was angry, I think it was bad aerobatics. Moved it out of the way. I looked but can't seem to get a good answer on what it is.
