The United States needs to take a long hard look into compromised United States representatives. We have current and a past Senators and Congresspeople of the United States, that I believe are severely compromised by the Russian Federation. Tommy Tuberville, Is currently holding up military appointments that are extremely critical for the readiness and preparedness of the United States military. The Pentagon says Tuberville, has already stalled more than 260 nominations of senior officers and could balloon to 650 by the end of the year. If the United States were to go to war we would be extremely unprepared, having low level officers leading the United States into conflict against superior commanders, and generals in foreign armies. It's not just Tuberville, but there are too many GOP house representatives to count, in regards to support for Vladimir Putin's hostile takeover of a sovereign nation. It's very possible that these individuals are compromised and no longer have the United States interest at heart. Possibly being extorted on behalf of a foreign government. Opinion: The United States has many compromised political figures and news organizations. In 2020, a major cyberattack suspected to have been committed by a group backed by the Russian government penetrated thousands of organizations globally including multiple parts of the United States federal government, leading to a series of data breaches. I believe the United States should look into the possibly of extremely compromised individuals from this attack. They should also look into how this attack was undetected for so long, and if Trump, who we know was a puppet to Putin and Russian interest, his entire presidency, allowed Russia to penetrate the United States on a national scale. There needs to be protocol for blatant obstruction to the United States ability to function, especially militarily.
