Don't Litter sign surrounded by litter in Deer Park.
What about it?
Interesting little social question here.
So, was this sign put up in response to people littering in that specific area? Or did people dump their litter there in response to a sign telling them not to? As a sort of f*ck you to authority?
Either way, I think this sign, and the surrounding litter, says a lot about where we are as a society.
Is it that people don't generally like being told what to do, and the response is to rebel? Or is it that the person that wrote this sign would rather be seen to be trying to do something about the littering problem, rather than actually disposing of the litter themselves?
Does the very existence of this 'anti-littering' sign make this area more susceptible to future littering?
Interesting stuff.
Missing cat
What about it?
Our cat got out today in the Hoppers Crossing area. He's only 7 month old and I'm desperately searching for him. His name is Weetbix. He doesn't really answer to a name.
His main distinguishing feature is a crook in the tip of his tail that make him unable to straighten it. If anyone finds him please message me.
Carrying things with tailgate down legal?
What about it?
I need to transport a couch across melbourne soon. I only just fits in the tray of my ute, I need to have the tailgate down and it sits about half way along my tailgate.
This is the view where you can first see the number plate on level ground, 4m away.
