Dad will text me stuff like this to guilt me into ordering him take out, usually he adds how hungry he is. I’m sick of it and don’t know what to do.

NC for one year, but pretty sure Hurricane Hilary prompted this.

What about it?

Went NC after years of issues but boiled down to poor behavior from my stepdad and mom defending that (yelling, namecalling, forehead smack, charging me rent then using indoor cameras and not allowing guests, etc). It’s not an outrageous message but still feels so disruptive to my day. Part of me is so tempted to email back either updates or a reminder that I only want to consider a relationship if she’s willing to talk through everything that’s happened and come to an understanding regarding boundaries. Part of me wants to email her updates on how I’m doing. Why can’t she just respect the no contact so I don’t go through this mess of emotions.

After 2 years no contact my father, this was the message I got from him not even 3 days after I allowed him to have contact with me again. (Bella is my younger half sister) He wants me to send him a 2-4 page paper from something I have written in college to send to him for an interview he is having. My therapist is going to have field day with this one.

not technically a parent but my mothers boyfriend. hes a drunk, fell over one night and knocked his tooth out on a table. got a replacement and ended up losing it. obviously the blame went to me as i must have taken it, no way the loser just misplaced it. fast forward he got a new tooth and not even 2 days later loses it again, so much more shit happened that night (including him macing us with dog mace???) that i’m not going to post, he felt the need to threaten me ONLY FOR IT TO BE IN HIS POCKET.
