Is my bunny sickly?
I just got this English angora rabbit who is about 4 months old. I noticed when I first got him, that his nose was rather green (it's green unlike the pic) and crusty like you'd expect from boogers. About 3 days later I also noticed he suddenly had eye snot so I cleaned it off and it hasn't returned yet. I haven't noticed his nose get dirtier etc. I first thought his mouth was just stained from eating but combined with him having the eye snot, I figure perhaps he has sinusitis etc?.
So I cleaned his nose tonight with a warm cloth and I cleaned his eyes more (needlessly but he loved it). And I figured as I don't know for sure if he's sick, it would be alright to just leave him be and see if the eye snot or nose snot returns?. I have no clue how his previous environment was and perhaps it's just something from that?.
He eats a lot of pellets, drinks lots of water, eats lots of fresh veg, poops and pees a normal amount.
So I wonder: do rabbits ever just happen to get eye snot? Is he most likely sick or is it acceptable to wait 1-2 days before going to the vet as he otherwise seems fine?.
