What movies did you think were awful in the theater, but you loved them upon watching again at home?
For me, it was Drop Dead Gorgeous. I saw it in theaters my senior year of high school. Myself & everyone in my group (sisters included) came out of that theater thinking we wasted our money. It was AWFUL. We, pretty much jokingly, rented it to watch at home after it was released. AND WE LOVED IT it was so great 😆
I'm guessing because I was expecting something different, I didn't enjoy it. But upon watching again I knew what was coming....and it was hilarious lmao.
Beyonce has filed for more trademarks. One for the term 'House of Chrome' and the other for 'Silver Horse' (her new bands name). She previously filed for 'ECHOVILLE' in 8 different categories, and eventually filed for the term 'PURE/HONEY' for her group of singers (think of her band 'the mamas')
Does the artwork for singles not matter anymore?
Both iTunes and YouTube retroactively change an artist’s single cover to match the album cover it is set to appear on. (Not sure about other services - anyone else have this issue or see it as an issue?)
Two examples I have encountered recently are Madison Beer’s Home To Another One and Kylie’s Padam Padam. On iTunes and YouTube Music the artwork has been changed to match the album cover. And in the case of iTunes, I bought both these songs and now if I sync my phone the album artwork is going to change.
I’m sure 10’s of people work to create a single cover, even if they are just music video stills and now people can’t enjoy them. Aren’t they created for a reason, to create a vibe with the song? Why are they changing them?
Now Home To Another One is now a “brown-earthy†picture and not a “spacey-blue†one anymore. Although, to be honest Home To Another One has been changed to the single cover of Spinning, which I’m not even sure is going to be the album cover.
I can’t really complain about Padam because the Tension album cover is amazing to me. (Do people have such important colour connections to songs as I do?â€
