Can't see clock and status bar with certain wallpapers

With some wallpapers the upper portion of screen is very white while the text also stays white so sometimes it's impossible to see the text. Also I don't know why the phone blurs the upper portion of the wallpaper and removes the image. Anyways is it possible to make the text black? I have iOS 17 installed so not sure if this is a bug or feature. I only used 16.6 for a few days after buying this.

register my number for iMessage, what is this?

I keep getting a notification about my number being used for iMessage, but that it is not associated with this phone. I do not understand, this is the only phone number I have had and I’ve had it for the past 10 years. This is my phone that I’m holding in my hand. All of a sudden, this message is appearing, and there’s no way to fix it. does anyone know how to get rid of this so I can keep using my number and it doesn’t expire?

HDR UI Elements in IOS17 Bèta

Since I updated my iPhone 14 Pro to iOS 17 beta, I have noticed that Apple has incorporated HDR elements into its user interface. This was particularly noticeable to me on the sharing page where the options appear brighter white in color compared to the rest of the interface. Knowing that screenshots are not captured in HDR, I took a screenshot of this page to verify my theory. Has anyone else made similar observations?

I am finally starting to appreciate the magic of film productions, and the subtleties they throw in from time to time. I’ve watched the entire series a few times, but just now noticed what they did here. Does anyone else see what’s going on here?
