Massive house fly??

what’s this thing? It’s inside my house in Italy. It looks like a huge house fly but quite hairy. Poor guy doesn’t seem to be able to fly much and gets stuck behind the curtain and just walks circles on the glass.

Saw this little green guy battling a cockroach in Gili Trawangan (Lombok, Indonesia), I think he won. Maybe 5-7cm long

Lately a bunch of these little black beetles have been seen around my workplace. They're smaller than my fingernail and there have been at least a dozen seen in two days. I'm located in central New Mexico. Thanks!
