Can this be auger'd?
Upstairs bathtub/shower stopped draining today. Built 1980, bought 8 years ago, never had an issue. Upon inspection and removing the drain, I noticed it immediately 90s off and after trying to stick about a foot of auger into it, realized it bent again. Looked at it from below in the downstairs drop ceiling and I'm not sure this is ideal. Drain to 90 elbow into T...I assume vent...down 6 inches for U trap to 90-horizontal run for 18 inches to 90-elbow still horizontal to the big pipe (I assume sewer out). Seems like a crap ton of bends and I couldn't get my auger to go past the T after the initial elbow...can pros do it? Am I better off using Hair Disolver to clear up?. I was able to pull some hair out, and it now drains but still a bit slow.
