What's wrong with my cats tail?

About 8 months ago, my cats tail was dragging, and she'd bite it whenever it'd twitched or attempted to move it. I took her to the vet ER, they did an X-ray and said that nothing was wrong, even sent me the pictures, they just recommended to leave a cone on her and give her some of the pain meds they sent with me. 2 Months after, she seemed fined but the tail bitting started again and bit it to the bone, had to take her to the ER again and get it amputated, again they couldn't find the cause of her tail pain and said it was most likely some sort of trauma [assuming something fell or stepped on her tail]. Ever since that, she seemed to be doing perfectly fine and didn't paid any attention to her little tail nub, until now I caught her bitting into and seeing it twitch like how it used to. What's wrong with her little tail? I'm making a vet appointment for next week, for now I'm keeping a cone on her and giving her some of the medication I had left

This is Old Man Otis. Otis will not eat wet food.

This Otis. He is a recently adopted, likely senior street cat. I want to give him the best life possible for however many years he has left, but he’s driving me crazy with his food preferences. He loves dry kitten food (mainly one brand) and gets indignant if I don’t also offer him wet food - wet food he takes two bites of and then ignores. I’ve tried different textures, brands, flavors, feeding times, bowls, you name it - this cat just wants dry food. If I had a ton of extra money I wouldn’t care that he wastes it but I don’t and I’m also worried he’s not getting enough hydration through his food. I am just an anxious first time cat mom and Otis is really very sweet and dopey and I just want my child to eat his vegetables. Does anyone have any suggestions?

TW CAT PUKE: Cat is throwing up differently

My cat usually throws up a few times a week since forever and it usually looks like what he eats but 2 days ago and today he threw up twice in one day. This is not what it normally looks like and im worried. Is the change a bad thing?

Rehomed cat

How can I help him adjust? I have one other cat, and I'm keeping her separate from him right now. He seems pretty skittish, and has spent most of his time hiding behind the couch. He's about a year old, and my other cat is the same age. We got her as a kitten, and I wasn't here for most the the adjustment period so I'm a little stuck about what I can do to help him adjust

How to help newly adopted stay feel less on edge around my dog?

This week (after taking him to the vet for vaccines and to check for a chip that wasn't there) I adopted this stray that's been hanging around my house for a couple months. He is incredibly sweet, but very nervous around my 25 lbs dog. My dog has never met a cat, but he has been mainly uninterested. The cat however is very nervous around the dog so I've been keeping my dog in the gated off kitchen and my new cat in the living room. Cat will occasionally walk by the gate to hiss but keeps on going. I don't force any interaction. Any advice on how to help the cat feel as comfortable and safe as possible in this transition/introduction? This is my first cat so idk what I'm doing here.
