How should I build these doors?

Noob mistake but I used plywood thinking if I painted and polyurethane it, it would seal it up. How should I have built these doors? The whole thing was scrap wood so I’m not looking to spend $100 usd to make doors if possible

Slowly transitioning from tool collector to woodworker

My third project. First non-aquarium related piece of functional equipment. Cedar grill cart; 22” Blackstone, 22” Cuisinart. Not happy with the sealer I used, and doubting the “outdoor rated” casters its on. It’ll function for a couple years though.

Update: butcher block workbench tops

I took the overwhelming advice to turn these two hand me down butcher blocks to a workbench top. Coated in hempseed oil and hid the front with a 2x4 since they were different heights. How did I do?

Dust collector trips circuit breaker

Excuse the mess. So I got an electrician to install a 120V/20A dedicated circuit for a Shopfox w1867 dust collector and it keeps tripping on startup. The motor will start for about 2 seconds and then the circuit breaker will trip. The manual says the a 20a dedicated circuit should be fine. The manual also mentions that I should have it connected to a dust collection system otherwise if there is insufficient air resistance then the motor will pull more amps. I have it connected to a 20 foot 4” flexible hose and connected that to my planer. The other feed has a dust cap. The circuit breaker is tripping, not the fuse in the motor. Not sure how I should continue troubleshooting.

can I seal a finished table?

Thanks in advance for any help. We purchased this table on heavy discount from Anthropologie and it’s in gorgeous condition, but I’ve noticed a couple tiny water marks on the top. I know this is “reclaimed” olive wood, and I’m wondering if there’s any way I can seal the top so that we don’t ruin it in the future by actually eating at the table. It’s very smooth and seems to be soft. I apologize for my lack of woodworking knowledge here. Thanks!
