What are these guys doing in my apartment bathroom?

About the size of a centimeter. Found three already.

I think it's a mantis but I don't know for sure. It's big and I'm terrified of it, but I want to get it out peacefully.

Found these little holes in my back yard (Wisconsin). I included my finger for scale. Which bug (or other animal?) could have created these?
