Looking for solution

a while back I was looking at ways to create more space in my storage. one of the recommendations was to save space by letting my phone optimize imessage photos. so when I send or receive pics in my texts, after a few days they’re no longer there and I have to manually click on each one to download them and see the picture. I want to switch this back so photos appear and stay in my text threads for forever. they don’t even appear when I click the info button. I don’t see any option to reset this and I haven’t been able to find a solution. any help please?

Can’t change password for another apple id

Seems that its last stage of procedure about changing password. My pass has more than 8 symbols, has numbers etc… just i hit right blue button “next”, then i see loading animation and after nothing happened, just loading animation disappears and thats all. Tried to login with my new pass - it says that password is wrong. What should i do?
