Crashes, hangs, and lines… is my GPU failing?
GPU - 5700XT, ~4 years old
Installed Middle Earth: Shadow of War on my PC a few days ago, and ever since I’ve been experiencing extremely erratic behaviors including system crashes (blue screen is corrupted and fragmented, disappears almost instantly), game crashes and hangs, software issues, and lines.
I ran Time Spy on 3DMark, did not crash. Ran AMD’s stress test, didn’t crash. Windows says hardware is working as intended, but it’s obviously not. Tried repairing and re-installing drivers, doesn’t seem to have helped (see pic).
Should I assume I’m going to have to bite the bullet and get a new GPU? Or could there be something linked to the game file (which I’ve since uninstalled with no improvement to performance) or a corrupted file somewhere? Thanks in advance.
