Is there any hope for me?

Basically I really want to get the pictures off of a broken iPhone 13 Pro. Essentially I plugged it in one night and everything was good, then woke up to this message on the screen. After taking it to apple they said an error occurred during a software update and something was wrong with the computer or something and it broke. They said there was nothing they could do, and I didn’t have anything backed up before it happened(I am new to iPhone, was Samsung until like 4 months ago) all of the photos I have ever taken was on this thing and would be really sad to loose them. Does anyone have any ideas?
