is there a boss in this game you like everything about, except the actual fight itself?
for me it's Lichdragon Fortissax. the OST of this bossfight is absolutely amazing i even find myself listening to it when doing something casually like on a walk or doing chores. the aesthetics of this fight are super cool too. the red lightning and dream like cloudy arena are a marvel to observe. his design is chaotic but elegant. i'm not a lore expert but from what i understood i liked his backstory too.
and then you get to actually fight him. and i can only say this fight is disappointing at best (from a melee perspective). avoiding the deathblight around the arena feels tedious and its hard to actually see what he is doing. the lightning hitboxes are not great and honestly feel quite random though i could be wrong on that. his hp pool is low so you're usually not fighting him long anyway. he is also practically impossible to stagger due to the way his poise is set up so performing heavy attacks has less of a use. i'm not sure how many new moves he has compared to the other ancient dragons but it doesn't feel like much.
what do you think?
Build; Obi-wan Kenobi
Set :Errant sorcerer
Weapon: cane sword with frozen arment ash of war
Use gravity spells for force powers
Carian slicer can be your lightsaber if you want one and off, otherwise cane sword has the right shape to be a lightsaber
I cleared out everything I had so much fun. I went pure intelligence myself but easily could mix in dex or str.
May the force be with you.
Hopefully I'm not the first one to make this build.
I'm horrible at Elden Ring and late to the party. But this is my first soulslike boss victory, and I believe you are the only ones who will understand the absolute euphoria coursing through my veins. 26 times I died to the Man of Many Hands, and now he is vanquished, and I stand victorious. True Joy
